Scholarships for Graduate Students in Ontario.

The Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS) are a merit-based scholarship offered by the province to reward academic performance at the master’s and doctorate degrees. International students can also take advantage of this deal. Before applying as an international student, you should be aware of the following points:

* The scholarship is worth $15,000 each year; * The scholarship must be used for two consecutive semesters; * To be eligible for this award, you must be an international student studying in Ontario with a study permit. 

To be qualified, you must have an academic score of up to 30-50 percent of the school’s required score, as evidenced by your transcripts. You should also have done thorough research and be ready to demonstrate it. Programs, publications, seminars, and other forms of proof are examples of this type. Fellowships in Canada for Graduates 

The Canada Graduate Fellowship’s mission is to develop students’ research capacities by enhancing research skills and training highly competent individuals. There are, however, a few points to keep in mind: 

* Be enrolled in, have applied to, or will apply for full-time admission to an eligible master’s or doctoral program at a Canadian institution with a CGS allocation; * Be enrolled in, have applied to, or will apply for full-time admission to a master’s or doctoral program at a Canadian institution with a CGS allocation; * Be enrolled in, have applied to, or will apply for full-time admission to an eligible master’s or doctoral program at a Canadian institution

Financial Aid and Awards at Simon Fraser University. 

This is a merit-based grant for international students who have succeeded in previous academic programs. There is, however, a grant available for international students. However, you must meet the following criteria to be considered: * A minimum CGPA of 3.00 at SFU (this is waived for students in their first semester at SFU). 

* Unless otherwise noted, you must be enrolled full-time in an accredited degree program. You must have shown that you are in financial need (as assessed by SFU).

Graduate Scholarships at the University of Calgary 

International students are allowed to apply for this sort of award, which has the same prerequisites as the other scholarships. These include: * You can apply for scholarships after submitting an application for admission and receiving a University of Calgary student number; * Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $40,000 and cover a wide range of fields of study; * Graduate scholarships must be applied for; and * Qualification is not automatic.

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship is an award given by the Government of Canada to outstanding graduate students 

The Canadian government introduced this scholarship into the system. It was created to help graduate students who were highly qualified stay in school. It also aims to restore Canada’s position as the world’s best country. Furthermore, there are eligibility conditions, like with all other scholarships. These requirements include: * Pursuing a Ph.D. program at a Canadian institution; * The Canadian university must also nominate you for the award; * The grant is valued at $50000 per year for three years.
